Welcome to the 1.1 version of tipson.net. All of the section and pages have been revamped, and all of the old static information has now been moved from this, the front page, to a Rationale and History page.

Jump straight into any of the sections on the left, or alternatively go through the below headings (but beware, I make no promises about convergence, and although broadly based around sections there are a few hard-to-find (but hopefully worthwhile to look for) pages.

Switzerland, it's good to look at (update: 24 July 2007)

That's my idea of a possible advertising slogan for the Swiss national tourism board. It has the advantage of being short and snappy, and intelligible to people of just about any nationality, and, unlike some other slogans you may hear from time to time, it's also true.

This time around Kel and I have being taking pictures frantically - mostly of Switzerland but also of other exotic European destinations as well. Around here, we're also trying to enjoy the outdoors before the authorities take it away and cover it with snow. Yes, that's right: the Swiss even tell the weather what to do (I'm not kidding: the rain is so well behaved that it only rains on weekdays and at night).

But enough introduction. Here are the new photos:

	May photos: cycling around the lake, Swiss style! Plus chateux and chutes (...castles and waterfalls).
	June photos: Paris is the highlight of this lot, but we racked up some kms getting to Strasbourg and Locarno.
	July photos: especially recommended, since the photos came out really well, and should give you some idea of the scenary we saw on our trip into the mountains a few weeks ago.

If you need more procrastination time at work, the Lausanne Photos (May edition) as well as Lausanne Photos (March/April edition) are also online, along with some skiing and Zuerich photos just for good measure!
