Welcome to the 1.1 version of tipson.net. All of the section and pages have been revamped, and all of the old static information has now been moved from this, the front page, to a Rationale and History page. Jump straight into any of the sections on the left, or alternatively go through the below headings (but beware, I make no promises about convergence, and although broadly based around sections there are a few hard-to-find (but hopefully worthwhile to look for) pages. Switzerland, it's good to look at (update: 24 July 2007)That's my idea of a possible advertising slogan for the Swiss national tourism board. It has the advantage of being short and snappy, and intelligible to people of just about any nationality, and, unlike some other slogans you may hear from time to time, it's also true. This time around Kel and I have being taking pictures frantically - mostly of Switzerland but also of other exotic European destinations as well. Around here, we're also trying to enjoy the outdoors before the authorities take it away and cover it with snow. Yes, that's right: the Swiss even tell the weather what to do (I'm not kidding: the rain is so well behaved that it only rains on weekdays and at night). But enough introduction.
